aboutBianchi Morley is a Structural Design Consultancy whose Director of Design is internationally renowned long span specialist Mr. Stephen Morley who has derived the structural concept design and also often led the detailed design of some 23 stadiums and arenas around the world including the Gold Medal Award winning Stadium Australia for Sydney's 2000 Olympics. Bianchi Morley is comprised of a team of individuals with outstanding skills in structural design engineering, structural and mechanical concept design and invention. The team's focus is on deriving a concept design and providing technical reviews in principal through the detailed design phase. These services are applied to long span structures including stadia, retractable roofs, arenas, grandstands and leisure centers, as well as unique sustainable buildings such as universities. Bianchi Morley recognizes the importance of sustainability and embodied energy in building design. Bianchi Morley also provides a range of advisory services - please refer to 'Services'. Recent projects include Bianchi Morley as the lead conceptual designers including the structural concept design for Wimbledon's Centre Courtmoving roof. Whilst the whole of a design team make a contribution to a design, Stadia and Roof design are Engineering led. Bianchi Morley was Specialist Consultant on the Ascot Racecourse Redevelopment and is Strategic Alliance Partner to CLM, London Olympic Delivery Partner.
